Residential Property Fees
Our fees for carrying out residential property work will vary depending on a number of factors. Prior to carrying out any work on your transaction, we will always provide you with an estimate of our legal fees to include all costs and disbursements that are associated with your sale and/or purchase.
Typically, our legal fees will range from £450 to £1,950 + VAT

Our fees start from £250 + VAT dependent on nature of Will.
Storage fee: £50 + VAT per year for storage.

Our fees are based upon the percentage of estate
and dependent on size and nature of matter. Prices start from 2% of the estate.
AML check: £10 + VAT per person. Bank transfer fee: £40 + VAT
Postage: varies dependent on type of postage.
Our fees start from £500 + VAT per LPA.
AML check: £10 + VAT per person.
£82 Office of Public Guardian fee per LPA.
Debt Recovery Fees: Debts up to £100,000
We charge on the basis of the time that we spend on the case and we do not generally offer a fixed-price service, although if the client wishes to instruct us on a regular basis we can discuss a bespoke retainer arrangement.
Due to debt recovery cases being resolved by potentially writing a single letter or resulting in court proceedings the range of costs and length of time involved is difficult to assess. For example in the case of a debt being recovered by way of a single letter demanding payment our fees could be as little as £150 + VAT, however in cases where the debt is disputed or the debtor refuses to pay, our fees for bringing court proceedings, obtaining judgement and enforcing the judgement could be as much as £20,000 plus disbursements such as court bailiff fees.
Finally and generally, if any matter requires any additional work, which has not been listed above or did not form part of the scope of instructions at the outset of a matter, any such work will usually be charged at the acting fee earner’s hourly rate unless a fixed fee for any such additional work can be agree. The hourly rate can be found in our terms and conditions which are accompanied with your retainer letter.
